Sweating is a natural occurrence that happens to everyone, we all need to sweat in order to regulate body temperature; however there are some people who find themselves sweating more than others.

When sweat patterns start to adversely affect your everyday activities then there could possibly be cause for concern. Sweating excessively can negatively affect your social life causing you to become withdrawn and in some cases cause depression and anxiety.

Make sure that you stay hydrated by drinking more water. Drinking more water may seem like the last thing that would help this type of problem but staying hydrated keeps the body temperature down. The more your body temperature increases the more you are likely to sweat.

Wear clothes that allow the skin to breathe. Clothes made from cotton are best for this type of condition.

Acupuncture is a method that helps control sweating. The hypothalamus controls sweating and acupuncture can affect this part of the brain. Relaxation is a method to help reduce sweating.

When you become stressed or nervous, this can cause you to sweat. Relaxation techniques can be a very effective way to reduce anxiety and thus reduce excessive sweating.

Avoid caffeine or caffeinated drinks as these can cause anxiety which can trigger excessive sweating. Drink water and eat healthy, doing all of the above will not only help with sweating but will also benefit your health.
