SweatCure – 6 Tips to Prevent Underarm Sweat
When you walk into a room full of people and have their heads turn to you it can feel a little overwhelming or even scary. But how would you feel if your shirt had huge sweat stains visible on your shirt? It will be more than embarrassing! Excessive sweating is also known as hyperhidrosis and by following these 6 simple tips you can easily prevent underarm sweat from embarrassing you again.
- Wearing cotton clothes is a good option while you are under the treatment. Cotton and natural materials absorb sweat, allow your skin to breath and sweat to evaporate – all at the same time. This also prevents body odor because bacteria reproduces in the wet places. This will not help reduce the problem but will make you more comfortable in front of other people.
- Shave your armpits. This will decrease the sweating and also prevent the body odor as you’ll be denying bacteria a fertile living area.
- Use a deodorant or antiperspirant to manage the wetness. Choose an antiperspirant that contains aluminum chloride. It will decrease the excessive sweating.
- Drink lots of water. This will hydrate your body and keep your body cool. A healthy person should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day.
- Take a shower daily, and after the shower dry the body completely as any wet area left on the body can prove to be a problem. Apply talcum powder so that you remain dry for a long time.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol. Both of these can raise the temperature of your body and increase sweating.
The tips given above will help you reduce underarm sweating more or less naturally, the only chemicals you’ll be using are antiperspirants, and it sure beats Botox injections some people choose to use as hyperhidrosis treatment. Also try including vitamins, zinc, calcium and magnesium in your diet.
